i stayed at this hotel before and would come here again. the venue was well priced and well-organized, it had responsive staff at reception desk. it had central location close to festspielhaus. the breakfast was extensive and free for late risers.

Really enjoyed extensive and delicious breakfasts, and fairly clean hotel.

We, as older guests, appreciated the chartered bus services to the Festspielhaus, the convenient location near the town center and train station, and the hotel's "Wagner Festival" atmosphere.

Felt very lucky, no complaints.

Excellent breakfast, great staff, convenient transportation to the opera, and clean facilities. Location is close to both the city center and the opera, making it an ideal choice for festival attendees.

Nothing could have been better. This hotel has all the amenities and services needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in this beautiful city.

Convenient for Festspielhaus, especially the transport arrangements. Convenient also for shopping in the nearby shopping centre. Reaching the city centre for site seeing on foot was also easy. Comfortable beds. Altogether an excellent hotel with a pleasant atmosphere.

The design of the furniture in the room is very poor and impractical, especially the non-existence of shelves. Poor shower in need of replacement with one which spreads the water into smaller streams and is more adjustable and flexible.

We enjoyed staying at the Arvena during our visit to Bayreuth for the Wagner festival. I would recommend the hotel as an ideal base for this purpose and we will definitely stay again. The staff were very pleasant, brunch breakfast delicious, room air conditioned and very practical - except for the absence of a wall dressing table mirror! However there were other mirrors in the room and these were quite adequate.The hotel transported us to the festival grounds each evening in a traditional vehicle - the ideal way to be noticed on arrival. We walked back afterwards - about 10 min but not strenuous. The hotel were waiting to serve drinks and meals after the performance - on our first night we did not attend a performance and watched them prepare for the hungry and thirsty audience to arrive! Throughout our stay nothing seemed to be any trouble for the staff and we were very impressed.

The lack of a wall mirror at the dressing table would be my only criticism.

The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The room amenities, including heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities, added to our enhanced comfort. We also appreciated the in-room safe, which provided us with a sense of security. The flat-screen TV was a nice addition, allowing us to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.

This place is highly recommended.

Thanks everyone for a very nice stay during longer road trip. The room was neat, with WiFi, an iron and ironing board; it had nice views. I slept in the exceptionally comfortable bed.

The hotel has responsive and competent staff at the reception desk. the restaurant served delicious dishes for dinner. - the breakfast offered plenty of eggs and bacon. - the location is secure and within a short distance from New Castle.

The hotel was in a good location as it was close to the city center and all the restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They provided complimentary water bottles in the room which was convenient. the hotel offered a shuttle service to the nearby attractions which was very convenient.

The hotel was extremely outdated and could use some renovation. The decor was old and worn out and the carpets looked dirty.

Excellent facilities; service was first-class; quiet at night; well located for the town centre (10 min walk).
